The location is ideal, close to Bangla Road and the beach. The live music and pool area added to the charm. the WiFi connection was very poor, making it hard to stay connected.

The Expat is a foodie’s paradise! The on-site restaurant not only serves up mouthwatering dishes but also pairs them perfectly with local beers. Don't miss the nearby Namaste Phuket Restaurant for a taste of home-style Indian curry that's to die for! The staff were super helpful, making my dining experience a breeze.
We could have used more sunbeds by the pool, but it didn’t dampen our spirits.

Maintenance is definitely in order—rooms are showing their age, and there's nowhere to dry wet swimwear. The chlorine levels in the pool were concerning, potentially ruining swimwear, and the outside areas could use some sprucing up. the sound system can be a tad intrusive for those trying to sleep in the mornings.

i’ve stayed in phuket multiple times, and The Expat exceeded my expectations this visit. the location is perfect, right by the action but still quiet at night. the staff were super friendly and the pool was a lovely place to relax after exploring.
